Paying to use roads you already paid for?

The wonderful ‘stimulus’ bill is supposed to get our country out of this financial crisis by creating jobs and infrastructure. You are paying for it. And when you get out on the new stretch of road you paid for, make sure you have plenty more money in your pocket for the tolls.

That’s right, much of your ‘stimulus’ money is going towards projects that will cost you every time you use it.

For instance, here in Houston we have the Beltway 8 NE project. While I agree this tollway is necessary at this bottleneck, in no way should it be tolled if our tax dollars build it.

I attempted to contact Congressmen Ted Poe and Gene Green, but since I'm not in their district, I cannot send them an e-mail, even though this directly affects me.
