Boehner's filibustering Cap and Trade

I cannot stress how important defeating this bill is to the future of our country. Dem's claim this will help us get off foreign energy. How is that going to happen? We will be forced to go to energy that is not reliable and efficient. We will require more foreign oil since we cannot drill for our own anymore.

No one has read this bill. They added over 300 pages of amendments at 3:09AM this morning and Henry Waxman is trying to shut up John Boehner, claiming he has taken over 20 minutes to discuss this 1,500 page bill. Tough.

Here's a few highlights:

- If you sell your house, you will have to call and pay inspectors to come in and rate your energy efficiency. You will have to get your house to 'government standards' before you can sell your house.
- All homes will have to be built with the right electrical outlets to charge electric cars. The government will tell you where you need to install them, and retrofit existing homes.

NOTE - Democrats just voted against a bill requiring congress to actually READ the bill. How much corruption do we have? Now we know. 11 Republicans voted NOT to read the bill.
