This sounds 'Fishy' to me

Coincidence? Republican senator from Florida Mel Martinez, who I called out on my blog that he should not be re-elected because he voted for the racist (in my opinion) Sotomeyor has resigned a day after casting that vote.

I find his timing suspicious, 'fishy', and not so much of a coincidence. It seems to me he was hanging on just to vote for a fellow 'Latino' into one of the most powerful positions in our government. Martinez has, from what I can find, the same values and ideals I hold dear to me. This was a shock that he would cast a vote for Sotomeyor based on his past.

Perhaps it's a 'Wise Latina' thing.
