Al Gore, who I like to call The Big Liar, finally emerged from his deep underground bunker seemly un-phased by the unprecedented ice-cold temperatures and snow throughout the US. Yes, The Big Liar himself finally materialized at the Apple shareholders meeting on Thursday. Apple Macintosh computers, which are well known to be coveted by leftist liberals, have just chastised The Big Liar during an open mic audience appearance. I just want to point out that The Big Liar is a board member for Apple Computers.

One of the large shareholders said “If (Gore’s) advice he gives to Apple is as faulty as his views on the environment then he doesn’t need to be re-elected (as a board member)”.

Gore and the other board members used their liberal talking points not address the question and babbled around the point as we commonly see with politicians. Remember – The Big Liar said ‘the debate is over’ on global warming.

Yes, there were those cool-aid drinkers who defended The Big Liar, but it appears most people understand that The Big Liar is a big liar, only to seek incredible financial gain off the ‘global warming’ hoax.

‘Ol Blinky is at it again – spewing out false numbers. You might remember last year she said for every month we do not pass the economic stimulus package, 500 millions American jobs will be lost.

I don’t know what’s more interesting with this clip. Either that Nancy doesn’t realize that there are only 300 million Americans, or that CNN didn’t even notice the number flub.

Now Nancy has a new number that is completely unimaginable and frankly a desperate attempt to pass their bloated Healthcare bill that is only designed to take over about one-sixth of the economy. That new number is 400,000 – this is the amount of jobs that will be created ‘almost instantly’. Obama’s administration has probably already done that with the ‘stimulus’ package, but those were all government jobs. Since the government will be controlling our healthcare system, does this mean they will be government jobs?

Bush and Obama did nothing to prevent this and although the Pipsqueak with a Beard still claims they intend to use their nuclear plants for energy, it makes no sense why they would seek the highly enriched uranium which can be used in warheads, and they’ve constantly been testing and updating their missile program. On top of that, they still boast that they will ‘wipe Israel off the map’.

In issue 602 of Captain America, there is a Tea party march portraying a group of white people with protest signs that read “Tea Bag The Libs Before They Tea Bag You” and “Stop the Socialists”. In the comic, a black superhero “The Falcon” claims he wouldn’t be welcomed in the crowd of “angry white folks”.

It just goes to show when you get a liberal upset, especially one with publishing power, they will use their that power to push their agenda on our kids. I for one will not allow my kids to own, read, or purchase a Marvel Comic.

Iran promises to deliver a ‘punch’ to the West on 2/11

The President of Iran, who I like to call Pipsqueak with a Beard, made more threats claiming Iran was planning to deliver a ‘punch’ and ‘stun’ the Western Powers. This time, the date is on the 31st anniversary of the Islamic revolution, February 11.

So, what’s on the agenda? Cyber Attack? Nuke Detonation? Dirty Bomb Over NYC? Public Hanging of the US hikers captured at the border?

Who knows, but as they advance their nuclear ambitions while we sit around acting like nothing is going on, they’re bound to get the nuke they promised to use against Israel. Remember when they promised the UN their nuclear plants were ‘for peaceful purposes’ and not to be used for creating weapons? I didn’t buy it, but the idiots at the UN certainly did.

We should have hit their nuke sites when Bush was President. Bush did absolutely nothing, and of course Obama will not do anything. He’ll probably hand things over to the UN. The UN is corrupt and a complete joke and we should withdraw from the organization, kick them out of New York, and cease all funding. The UN collectively hates the United States while they gladly accept the fact we financially contribute more to the UN than any other nation.

The Iran situation should have been handled long ago. The longer we sit on our hands, the closer Iran gets to fulfill their destiny to destroy Israel and cripple the US.

While Obama is out there tooting his own horn today claiming the 'Stimulus Package' is working, there were actually jobs lost. How can the unemployment rate drop from 10% to 9.7% and we still lose 20,000 jobs? You will notice Obama isn't discussing the 20,000 lost jobs, just the lower percentage. One of the reasons is because so many people lost their unemployment benefits (so they're no longer counted), but the main reason is that they're drastically tinkering with the total current jobs available in the US. By simply changing the base number by a few million, you can have what appears to be a lower unemployment rate when in reality there are more unemployed people out there. Clever, but no one but morons should believe one word out of Obama's mouth when it's regarding a positive announcement in the economy. He's doing the complete opposite of the proven method to fix it and despite them adjusting numbers to make it look good, it's going to get worse until we get these socialists out of office.

If you need more proof that the democrats want nothing more than control, power, and money, today they just approved a $1.9 trillion increase to the government’s credit debt. This means each person will owe an additional $45,000. They’ve spent all of our social security money they promised to give us when we retire and can’t pay it back. They now promise to take our money and use it for socialized healthcare that a majority of Americans do not anyway. Our government cannot be trusted at any level.

As all aware Texans know, Kay Bailey Hutchison, who I like to call ‘The Parakeet’ because I think she looks like one, is running for Governor of Texas. I’m not happy with Rick Perry and wouldn’t mind seeing him go to someone farther to the right and with more common sense, but if he loses to The Parakeet, we’re heading in the wrong direction. The Parakeet voted for the bank bailouts as US senator. She is currently running ads on conservative Foxnews cable going with this statement:

‘Enable authorities to begin deportation of illegal immigrants who commit crimes’

What is wrong with this sentence? A couple things. First of all authorities should be able to deport illegal aliens at any time. Second, all illegal aliens ARE criminals and should ALL be deported. So The Parakeet wants to wait for an illegal alien, who is already a criminal for coming into this country illegally, to commit another crime before deportation? What a concept bird-brain.

In another ad by The Parakeet, they state:

'introduced the plan to jam prisoners' cell phones.'

What the hell are prisoners doing with cell phones to begin with? How about banning prisoners access to cell phones. They're in prison for a reason.

She also supports abortion. How can true conservatives give up their values to vote for her? Who will I vote for? Unknown at this time, but it won’t be for The Parakeet and I would prefer not to vote for Perry. At this point I am leaning towards Debra Medina.

We do not need this Parakeet chirping from her perch in the Texas Governor’s mansion.

Here’s my general rule: besides a couple of exceptions, never trust a female politician who insists using three names in their official title.

With such stunning hosts as Al Franken, Jerry Springer, and Rosanne, it seems inconceivable that such an end would come and how quickly it arrived. Right?

With conservatives dominating the AM talk show market for two decades, the leftists were pissed. Not because they already own all he other media outlets on television with the exception of Foxnews, but because they wanted to spew their anti-American communist rhetoric in EVERY way possible. Their fight with the conservatives failed after capitalism taught them that you have to have listeners to have ratings. Without ratings you don’t get advertisers. Without advertisers you have no money. The fact is no one wanted to listen to their crap because it’s already everywhere else. AM radio is the only outlet for pro-constitution Americans who love this country and don’t want ‘change’.

Air America, like most progressive liberal businesses, was corrupt. In an effort to keep their network limping along, the owners of Air America “borrowed” almost a million dollars from a non-profit organization called the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club. Taking money from a kid’s charity to keep their hate talk on the air didn’t work out. The disgusting acts were uncovered, lawsuits were filed, and the Boys and Girls club FINALLY got their money back after only 14 months with NO interest.

They filed for bankruptcy in 2006, but their attempt to recover was obviously a failure as they shut down yesterday, January 21, 2010. Of course, they blamed everything but their agenda and poor ratings as the reason for failure. They blamed it on the economy (probably Bush’s fault).

They know if they try the “nuclear option” they’re out of a job when elections day comes up. The best way to get their crappy bill through is to grant amnesty to 20+ million illegal aliens. I have a feeling they will use the earthquake disaster in Haiti as a tool to promote amnesty. If we can get them to delay this until next year there is little chance to pass. Amnesty will unfortunately secure the democrats in office for decades and completely destroy the culture of the United States.

The liberal progressives want more control of our day-to-day lives and the healthcare bill is a huge chunk of it. Trillions of dollars in taxes are on the line and the Dems want it. With a majority of Americans against the healthcare bill and proving this with how well republicans are doing in known Democrat states, the message should be clear. People are waking up to this socialism that Obama and his group of tax-cheating thugs are trying to pull on us. I think it’s the latter. They’re establishing a country that each and every citizen will be dependant on the government. Islamic terrorists are testing Obama

Now that we have a president who seems to sympathize with Islamic terrorists - those he sympathizes with are testing this weakness. Our president hasn’t even been in office for a year and we have had two terrorist attacks on American interests/soil. One was successful, and the second would have been if it wasn’t for civilian actions.

1. An Islamic terrorist succeeded in executing so many at Fort Hood. Even though the Obama administration fails to recognize this as Islamic terrorism, those with a functioning brain know better.
2. An Islamic terrorist just attempted to blow up a Delta airliner on the way to Detroit. Thankfully, we still have vigilant heroes among us who will gladly sacrifice themselves to overpower these cowards and prevent a disaster.

This is just the beginning. With Holder and the Obama administration giving terrorists such luxuries as citizen rights, not only are the terrorists laughing with glee, they are most likely planning more attacks and see so much opportunity for 2010.

Got Water? The US government wants to control your property

I have been reading about a new bill in the Senate called the Clean Water Restoration Act, but not until recently have I actually looked into it. This is a bill that would put the EPA in charge of all water on any land in the US. Currently the Clean Water Act allows the EPA to control all ‘navigable’ waters. This new bill would remove ‘navigable’ and therefore the EPA would be able to control ANY amount of water on any lands.

If you don’t think the EPA is going to strong-arm people, check this recent tidbit out…

The EPA threatened Americans and said if the senate fails to pass the cap-and-tax ‘climate bill’, the largest tax bill in the history of the world of over $100 trillion, they would have to take drastic measures to enforce environmental regulations seen in the bill. Therefore, they will completely bypass our congress and implement these rules anyway. What’s the point of having lawmakers if the EPA can just do whatever it wants?

Obama, who has a 11th month lowest rating since Harry Truman (47%), has desperately taken a commonsense route by implementing help for small businesses, which suddenly he realizes is the backbone of the American economy. In his 1,670th media appearance since taking office, Obama said he plans to eliminate capital gains taxes to those who invest in small businesses as well as other tax incentives. I heard nothing in his short speech about assistance for creating a new small business after his previous policies have crushed so many of them. He also will stop the TARP bailout which was the largest socialist government grab of Bush’s term and something I was completely against.

President Obama’s ratings are plummeting because he will not take responsibility for anything, spends our money like George Bush on speed, and constantly lies to the American public. Everything is the ‘previous administrations’ fault. He’s a typical corrupt Chicago-style politician who has no experience with business. No one has even told Obama the word ‘no’ before taking office and it’s really pissing him off right now as republicans are blocking his socialist utopian dream. It’s frightening how someone with virtually no experience made it into the White House.

I personally think Obama doesn’t care about the unemployment in America and he just cares about his ratings. Until now he has done everything to destroy American jobs and the 10% unemployment rate proves that. He wants us to be dependant on the government. It’s enslaving the American people – look at other socialist countries – it’s in their playbook.

They boast their goal is to reduce the CO2 emmisions but they emit more into the atmosphere than the average American. They are hypocrites and liars. Just after a couple weeks of the Climate-gate scandal, these hypocrites turn the other cheek when it comes to the incriminating documents hacked from their e-mails. These liars are going to this summit to tell the world how bad the United States is and how we need to pay for our ‘contributions’ to ‘global warming’ which has been proven to be a complete lie. It’s all about a new world order. They want us to pay over $100 Trillion of our tax money to save the world from ‘global warming’, even though the world has been cooling for the last 11 years. They neglect to tell you that proven fact. Senator Barbara Boxers shrugs off $100+ Trillion scam

While here in Texas we are expected to have the coolest weather since the 1800’s, liberal Senator Barbara Boxer’s goal in ‘Climategate’ is only to prosecute those who leaked the e-mails exposing the ‘Global Warming’ scam. It seems she doesn’t care that the cap-and-trade is based on false numbers and all-around lies which will result in over $100 trillion in taxes to battle something that doesn’t exist. She wants the leakers to face justice and doesn’t care that these e-mails prove ‘Global Warming’ is all made up.

This is simply about government control of our lives and Boxer is on the bandwagon. In the name of ‘Global Warming’ the government will steal even more of our money and regulate almost all aspects of how we live such as what cars we drive, what types of homes we live in, and what the temperature should be in our homes. Here’s the proof:

1. Government takeover of GM – the government calls the shots on what is made. By the way, GM wants to pay back the government loan. Do you think we will ever get this money back?
2. Cap-and-trade will give the government authority to ‘climatize’ your home before selling it. A government inspector will make sure your house meets government ‘green’ standards. If it doesn’t, you must spend thousands to retrofit your home before you can sell it. Plus, just look at the nut jobs that Obama has in his administration. His ‘Climate Czar’ wants everyone to paint their roofs white to curb ‘global warming’.
3. Leave it to California to take the first step where thermostats will be controlled by the power companies in ‘emergency situations’, according to the ‘2008 Building Efficiency Standards’. Of course, the government is the one who declares these ‘emergencies’.

‘Global Warming’ or ‘Climate Change’ is just a plan for the government to take over our lives even more and take away our freedom. Don’t buy into these lies.

If you own any shares in alternative energy companies I should start dumping them NOW. The conspiracy behind the Anthropogenic Global Warming myth (aka AGW; aka ManBearPig) has
been suddenly, brutally and quite deliciously exposed after a hacker broke into the computers at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (aka CRU) and released 61 megabytes of confidential files onto the internet. (Hat tip: Watts Up With That)

When you read some of those files – including 1079 emails and 72 documents – you realise just why the boffins at CRU might have preferred to keep them confidential. As Andrew Bolt puts it, this scandal could well be “the greatest in modern science”. These alleged emails – supposedly exchanged by some of the most prominent scientists pushing AGW theory – suggest:

Conspiracy, collusion in exaggerating warming data, possibly illegal destruction of embarrassing information, organised resistance to disclosure, manipulation of data, private admissions of flaws in their public claims and much more.

One of the alleged emails has a gentle gloat over the death in 2004 of John L Daly (one of the first climate change sceptics, founder of the Still Waiting For Greenhouse site), commenting:

“In an odd way this is cheering news.”

But perhaps the most damaging revelations – the scientific equivalent of the Telegraph’s MPs’ expenses scandal – are those concerning the way Warmist scientists may variously have manipulated or suppressed evidence in order to support their cause.

“I will be emailing the journal to tell them I’m having nothing more to do with it until they rid themselves of this troublesome editor.”“It results from this journal having a number of editors. The responsible one for this is a well-known skeptic in NZ. He has let a few papers through by Michaels and Gray in the past. I’ve had words with Hans von Storch about this, but got nowhere. Another thing to discuss in Nice !”

Hadley CRU has form in this regard. In September – I wrote the story up here as “How the global warming industry is based on a massive lie” - CRU’s researchers were exposed as having “cherry-picked” data in order to support their untrue claim that global temperatures had risen higher at the end of the 20th century than at any time in the last millenium. CRU was also the organisation which – in contravention of all acceptable behaviour in the international scientific community – spent years withholding data from researchers it deemed unhelpful to its cause. This matters because CRU, established in 1990 by the Met Office, is a government-funded body which is supposed to be a model of rectitude. Its HadCrut record is one of the four official sources of global temperature data used by the IPCC.

I asked in my title whether this will be the final nail in the coffin of Anthropenic Global Warming. This was wishful thinking, of course. In the run up to Copenhagen, we will see more and more hysterical (and grotesquely exaggerated) stories such as this in the Mainstream Media. And we will see ever-more-virulent campaigns conducted by eco-fascist activists, such as this risible new advertising campaign by Plane Stupid showing CGI polar bears falling from the sky and exploding because kind of, like, man, that’s sort of what happens whenever you take another trip on an aeroplane.

The world is currently cooling; electorates are increasingly reluctant to support eco-policies leading to more oppressive regulation, higher taxes and higher utility bills; the tide is turning against Al Gore’s Anthropogenic Global Warming theory. The so-called “sceptical” view – which is some of us have been expressing for quite some time: see, for example, the chapter entitled ‘Barbecue the Polar Bears’ in WELCOME TO OBAMALAND: I’VE SEEN YOUR FUTURE AND IT DOESN’T WORK – is now also, thank heaven, the majority view.

Unfortunately, we’ve a long, long way to go before the public mood (and scientific truth) is reflected by our policy makers. There are too many vested interests in AGW, with far too much to lose either in terms of reputation or money, for this to end without a bitter fight.

But to judge by the way – despite the best efforts of the MSM not to report on it – the CRU scandal is spreading like wildfire across the internet, this shabby story represents a blow to the AGW lobby’s credibility from which it is never likely to recover.

As an Independent, I will say I am a strong Conservative. I believe the values on which this country was founded. I love capitalism and free-markets. Competition lowers costs and creates jobs. I believe in less government and freedom to the people. Although much of my political slanting is usually towards the Republican Party, I will say that there is now no hope for republicans. There is no difference between the parties and the latest news just shows the current disarray of the republican party.

After Scozzafava dropped out of the race for the republican congress seat in New York, it turns out she just tossed her endorsement to the democrat who was running against her. She did not endorse Hoffman who is running under the Conservative party, which is more in line with what republicans once were.

This just shows that we need a real grassroots change in America. It’s no longer a party of democrats and republicans. There will be a third party movement in America once people open their eyes to the crap Obama has done since taking office. We need to vote for someone who believes in the constitution and the values which this country was founded. This is what we see in the Conservative movement in America. Vote for common sense and we will once again be a prosperous nation.

Obama wants government to run every aspect of our lives – he is a socialist. It’s all about control over the people. Less government = prosperity and growth. Most of the jobs created under the ‘stimulus package’ were government jobs. We cannot pull out of the Obamination we are in unless we vote for logical change. Vote for what makes common sense.

Cash for Clunkers Extreme Failure is Obama's Failure

Once again, the government has been proven can’t do things right and now they want to pass a 2,000 page ‘health reform’ bill that WILL raise taxes and be a government takeover of 1/6 of our economy? Plus, with around 400,000 words in this monstrosity of a bill, it will cost us about $2.2 million per WORD. Not only will this fail to do anything except destroying the free market of America, it will go the way of the Cash for Clunkers program that was also a miserable failure but promoted as a raving success by the Democrats.

I mentioned when the cash for clunkers program began it was already a failure. Well now in a story I saw posted to CNN, yes – CNN, it states each ‘clunker’ car cost us taxpayers $24,000 and resulted in few sales. I guess that’s Obama’s idea of success. Just like the $200,000 we pay per job created in the ‘stimulus package’.

Lots of tax payer money is going to worthless programs that were proven to fail by the conservatives long before they were even implemented. Yet Obama used scare tactics to pass the ‘stimulus package’, and promised us if we passed it unemployment wouldn’t go above 8%. Well, it’s at 9.8% and will probably go above 10%. Who's the dumb ass now? Purple-Lips in Chief, that's who.

I think it’s obvious this administration either has no clue what their doing by implementing proven failed policies, or it’s part of their big agenda to fundamentally change America to the socialist ‘utopia’ they dreamed about in the 60’s while tripping on LSD with Timothy Leary and their Weather Underground domestic terrorist groups.

One thing for sure - Obama can't blame these failures on Bush. It's time for him to take the blame for HIS failures.

WASHINGTON — Congressional tax experts say Senate health care legislation would impose $29 billion more in taxes on health care industries than originally thought.

The Joint Committee on Taxation says drug companies, medical device manufacturers and insurers would pay $121 billion over 10 years as a result of taxes in the Senate Finance Committee bill.

That's compared with $92 billion originally calculated.

The tax experts said the reason for the change is that the companies won't be able to deduct the fees from their corporate income taxes.

The new numbers come Tuesday as the Finance Committee is preparing to vote on the bill and could bolster GOP arguments that it contains too many new taxes.

The man who has never heard the word ‘no’ before he was president was once again dealt a blow when he wasted OUR time and millions of our tax dollars to try to get the Olympics in his politically corrupt city of Chicago. The elitist black caucus (EBC) consisting of Oprah, Michelle Obama, and his highness himself Barack Obama flew tax-payer funded jets to try to twist some arms in person to get the 2016 Olympics. They only three positive outcomes are:

1. It shows how incompetent and idiotic Obama is as President. When we have so many issues going on here he takes off overseas to try to get the Olympics in the US, which no other US president has done. I’m sure when his poll numbers come out it will not be good news for Obama.

2. Obama was once again bitch-slapped across his face when he was told ‘no’. That’s probably the most satisfying outcome.

3. Corrupt politicians in Chicago won’t get their pockets full of cash with all the tax and bribe money they were expecting.

I hope, as most Americans do, that the healthcare bill will fail much like Obama's presidency has. All the polls I have seen show a majority of Americans do not want this healthcare reform.

In early May, Gibbs said that while he hadn't asked the president specifically about bailout options for newspapers, "I don't know what, in all honesty, government can do about it."

Obama said that good journalism is "critical to the health of our democracy," but expressed concern toward growing tends in reporting -- especially on political blogs, from which a groundswell of support for his campaign emerged during the presidential election.

"I am concerned that if the direction of the news is all blogosphere, all opinions, with no serious fact-checking, no serious attempts to put stories in context, that what you will end up getting is people shouting at each other across the void but not a lot of mutual understanding," he said.

I find this remark in such a venue revolting, unprofessional, and downright wrong. It was not the place for such comments. This does nothing but fuel the fire for the Obama-loving leftist media. They’ll be eating on it for the rest of the week.

However, Congressman Wilson did apologize, and not the way liberals do it. If a Democrat leftist liberal did the same thing this is how they would have ‘apologized’:

Aug. 31 (Bloomberg) -- The chief Senate sponsors of a bill aimed at curbing global warming have pushed back its introduction from next week until later in September.

Democratic Senators Barbara Boxer of California and John Kerry of Massachusetts, in an e-mailed statement today, cited Kerry’s hip surgery this month, the death of Senator Edward Kennedy and the debate over health-care legislation as reasons for the delay.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Nevada Democrat, said in July that he wanted the committees with jurisdiction over the measure to complete their work by Sept. 28. Boxer, the chairwoman of the Environment and Public Works Committee, said earlier this month that she would introduce her plan next week so it could be approved by the committee before the end of September.

Boxer and Kerry “are working diligently to craft a well- balanced bill, and Senator Reid fully expects the Senate to have ample time to consider this comprehensive clean energy and climate legislation before the end of the year,” Jim Manley, a spokesman for Reid, said in an e-mailed statement today.

The House passed a cap-and-trade bill in June that would require power plants, factories, oil refineries and others to reduce emissions 17 percent below 2005 levels by 2020.

If they could vote to keep or replace the entire Congress, just 25% of voters nationwide would keep the current batch of legislators.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 57% would vote to replace the entire Congress and start all over again. Eighteen percent (18%) are not sure how they would vote.

Overall, these numbers are little changed since last October. When Congress was passing the unpopular $700-billion bailout plan in the heat of a presidential campaign and a seeming financial industry meltdown, 59% wanted to throw them all out. At that time, just 17% wanted to keep them.

There has been a bit of a partisan shift since last fall. With Democrats controlling both chambers of Congress, it's not surprising to find that the number of Democrats who would vote to keep the entire Congress has grown from 25% last fall to 43% today. In fact, a modest plurality of Democrats would now vote to keep the legislators. Last fall, a plurality of Democrats were ready to throw them all out.

While Democrats have become more supportive of the legislators, voters not affiliated with either major party have moved in the opposite direction. Today, 70% of those not affiliated with either major party would vote to replace all of the elected politicians in the House and Senate. That’s up from 62% last year.

Republicans, not surprisingly, overwhelmingly support replacing everyone in the Congress. Their views have not changed. But Republican voters are disenchanted with their team as much as the Congress itself: 69% of GOP Voters say Republicans in Congress are out of touch with the party base.

Fifty-nine percent (59%) now believe that members of Congress are overpaid. That’s up 10 percentage points from last October. Just five percent (5%) think their Congress member is paid too little. Thirty percent (30%) think the pay is about right.

One reason for this attitude may be that most voters say they understand the health care legislation better than Congress. Just 22% think the legislature has a good understanding of the issue. Three-out-of-four (74%) trust their own economic judgment more than Congress’.

Just 14% give Congress good or excellent review for their overall performance, while only 16% believe it’s Very Likely that Congress will address the most important problems facing our nation. Seventy-five percent (75%) say members of Congress are more interested in their own careers than they are in helping people. On the brighter side, just 37% say most in Congress have extramarital affairs.

Fifty-nine percent (59%) of Americans believe that when members of Congress meet with regulators and other government officials, they do so to help their friends and hurt their political opponents. Most believe that’s why politicians are able to solicit contributions from business leaders. Most, however, say it’s generally a good investment because political donors get more than their money’s worth. Fifty-seven percent (57%) of American adults say political donors get more than their money back in terms of favors from members of Congress.

Despite these reviews, more than 90% of Congress routinely gets reelected every two years. It’s a shock when any incumbent loses. One explanation for this phenomenon frequently heard in Washington, D.C. is that “people hate Congress but love their own congressman.”

Voters have a different perspective, and 50% say 'rigged' election rules explain high reelection rate for Congress.

When the Constitution was written, the nation’s founders expected that there would be a 50% turnover in the House of Representatives every election cycle. That was the experience they witnessed in state legislatures at the time (and most of the state legislatures offered just one-year terms). For well over 100 years after the Constitution was adopted, the turnover averaged in the 50% range as expected.

In the 20th century, turnover began to decline. As power and prestige flowed to Washington during the New Deal era, fewer and fewer members of Congress wanted to leave. In 1968, congressional turnover fell to single digits for the first time ever, and it has remained very low ever since.

Don’t let their lies deceive you. Cash for Clunkers was a complete failure and did very little to ‘stimulate’ the economy. The reality is that it just proves how our government can’t get things right.

Failure #1 – The initial $1 billion was gone in a few days. The government predicted this money would last until October. Nice planning there Obama administration.
Failure #2 – Auto dealers are not getting refunded by the government. They front the cash for the buyers and expect the government to repay them. Sounds like a small version of Social Security.
Failure #3 – Foreign auto builders made out the best on the deal. Only one American car was in the top 5 list. They should have limited the program to American cars only. Even though some of the foreign cars are built in the US and employ US workers, the guys on the top in Japan get the real payout.
Failure #4 – They destroyed the cars traded in, regardless if they were perfectly functioning. Why not donate them to families in the US who don’t have transportation and desperately need it?

Now if the government can’t run a $3 billion program over a few weeks, can you really trust them to run a $1 trillion healthcare program over 10 years? The answer is no. Social security is going bankrupt and Medicare is in the tank. The post office is near bankruptcy.

Big government is not the answer to our problems. Less government, less taxes, and free-market competition is the way to lower costs, create jobs, and expand businesses. That would be a real stimulus package that wouldn’t cost the tax payers one cent, and has proven in the past to work. What Obama is trying to do has a proven failure record – every time.

Of course that law was great for him back then when a conservative was governor, but now it’s apparently not good because the current governor, Devel Patrick, an uber-liberal known for many controversies, cannot assign the senate seat and it must go to a special election vote. Even in Massachusetts, I have a feeling with the way Kennedy and his cronies have advanced socialism in the US, there is a chance a non-so-liberal will win the seat. Perhaps it will make the ‘filibuster proof’ 60-seat senate not so secure. Kennedy knows the Dems are in trouble.

It’s amazing how these crooks constantly change laws to benefit their sinister powers. It’s not about the people, it’s about the power and agenda.

In my opinion Ted Kennedy should be in prison for manslaughter and his passing won’t be something that I’ll be shedding a tear over. However, Jack Daniels will probably loose about 25% of their profits once he’s gone. God will be the final judge.

As I was mowing the yard today and listening to Rush, he talked about an interesting topic regarding a recent "Obama as Hitler" poster that made its way into an anti-Obamacare group. It turns out the guy was a plant by a democrat congressman John Dingell supporter. Apparently, after the guy marched the "Obama as Hitler" poster in front of TV cameras, he was seen handing out pro-John Dingell information.

Most of these people are plants with plans to attempt to show that anyone who speaks out against Obamacare are racists and wackos. It's part of their playbook. Whenever you see someone in these Obamacare protests wearing swastikas or creating violence, you should investigate where they are really coming from and don't believe the White House or the news.

I find his timing suspicious, 'fishy', and not so much of a coincidence. It seems to me he was hanging on just to vote for a fellow 'Latino' into one of the most powerful positions in our government. Anyone who voted to appoint her, democrat or republican, does not deserve to represent us in the United States Senate. It's a very simple thing to look at her history that PROVES she is a racist, just by her own comments. Venezuelan communist dictator Hugo Chavez, who I like to call the Red Turd, successfully implemented what the far left liberals in the US have been trying to do for decades - shut down opposing media. In the US we call it the 'fairness doctrine', which will require equal left and right coverage on media, mainly aiming at Foxnews and MOST AM talk shows. If it is implemented in the US, right wing talk show hosts will be forced off air because advertising will fall, and it will not be profitable to stay in business because no one wants to listen to hate-filled liberals yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs. It didn't work with Air America, and it will never work. Liberals control the television, but cannot make a dent in the tens of millions of listeners on AM radio. All the conservatives have is Foxnews and AM talk radio. Obama wants to shut them down.

Now look at the news from Venezuela. The Communist government claims these radio stations didn't have the proper permits. That's probably true because dissenting opinion towards the Red Turd would pretty much ensure their operating permits would be denied.

She has announced that she will step down from the US Senate and run for Governor. I also ask you not to vote for Gov. Rick Perry, who just recently accepted a huge amount of Obama’s tainted and corrupt ‘stimulus’ package. Both should not see office of the governor of our great State.

We need to vote for someone who will resist Obama’s socialist agenda and aggressively promote true American values based on the Constitution.

1. Secure the Texas/Mexico border with a fence, and then assign the National Guard to patrol it.
2. Deport each and every illegal alien and fine their country of origin for the costs of deportation.
3. Assign an officer to each emergency room lobby and have them verify legal residency before admittance.
4. Fine companies $100,000 per illegal alien they hire and revoke their business license for 10 years.
5. Allow our police officers to enforce already existing immigration laws.
6. Lower all taxes.
7. Reject all of Obama’s socialist bills such as socialized healthcare, cap-and-tax, and stimulus funds.
8. Offer State tax incentives for energy companies to drill and refine oil in our State.
9. If you are on death row and a DNA test or substantial and overwhelming testimony proves you did it, you are to be executed immediately. No more 20+ years on death row.
10. All signs and State documents will be in English ONLY. If you cannot speak and read English, get out of our State.
